Summer Lately

We've been doing lots of mowing with dad this summer!  

In other news, we spent one week going hard core with potty training.  Garrett did such a great job transitioning.  No special tricks, just consistency for the win.  

I took Garrett to the library and he now has his very own library card.  We spent some time going to mommy and me time at the library.  The librarian read a book, we sang some songs, and ended with some sensory play with some friends.  

We also made it out for Splish Splash story time at the water park.

Because sometimes it's just too hot to play outside, we bend the rules and ride our 4-wheeler in the AC!

Wedding Prep

We got to hang out with some friends before heading out to "help" clean up the land for Uncle Chad and Summer's wedding.  These guys had so much fun jamming out together.

Garrett had to have his tractor out to help!

We took off and did some riding on the 4-wheeler.  I love riding with this little man.  He'd let you drive him around all day long!

Summer's brother brought his excavator down to move some of the brush that was burning, and Garrett got to ride along with him.  This was his dream come true!  He loves excavators and sees them on our daily commute with all of the surrounding construction.  

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at the lake lot with Grandma and Grandpa this year.

He basically stayed like this throughout the entire fireworks display.  He liked looking at all of the fireworks, but he didn't like how loud they were.  We were right on the water, so it was extremely loud!  They were setting them off directly across from us.  We were just cracking up because he wanted Todd to keep his hand over his ears.  

He loves his Princess Summer!
